Speednetwork the Nation: The afterword
Well, the curtain has closed on this year's Enterprise Week, and we brought it down with a grand Speednetwork the Nation finale.
There were over 225 Speednetworking events all over the country throughout Enterprise Week in schools, colleges, universities, businesses - even on a plane, a bus and a ferry. Lots of new networking groups were launched as a result of Speednetwork the Nation such as the Rotherham Young Chamber, the YES Network in Brighton and the Divas Network in Stoke on Trent.
There was glamour too - Hollyoaks stars speednetworked in Liverpool with the city's creative talent. The Chancellor Gordon Brown, Sir Alan Sugar and all 5 Dragons from the Den were surprise guests at a Speednetworking event organised by Lambeth Council at the Young Vic in London - for business studies students and young entrepreneurs. read all about it here: Telegraph | Money | When shall we three speednetwork again?.
